The role and responsibilities
As VP you will be working out of our headquarters in Stockholm. You will work in a balanced matrix organization and be the leader of the Segment team and head up the cross functional core team with representatives from global functions.
You will be accountable for the segment´s profit and loss statement and together with your core team you will create, iterate and orchestrate the execution of the segment’s business plan. In addition, you will also be part of Tobiis Extended Management Team and report to the Head of Segments.

Leading, executing and reviewing the segment business plan.

Collecting & monitoring market trends.
Be one of the ambassadors for the segment internally & externally. Make sure the voice of the customers is represented throughout the organization, across teams and functions.

We are looking for someone who has
Strong leadership skills with a team first attitude.
10+ years' experience of leading cross-functional teams and a business (or business unit) being accountable for P&L as well as strategic leadership.
A strategic mindset with the ability to craft and execute business plans.
A technical understanding and the ability to transfer complex and technical knowledge to customers, sales colleagues, and channel partners.
A willingness to travel about 25 days a year, to visit sales offices, key events or customers.

A well-rounded understanding of our customers with a broad scientific network and can put Product owners and Developers in contact with other researchers who are willing to give their thoughts and opinions about concepts and functionality that are relevant to the software. Also, to reach out for input on ongoing and future functionalities for supporting various types of studies.
Good communication skills in written and spoken English and can formulate complex problems to your team.

The rest of the day will be filled with coding (production, test cases, test infrastructure and build scripts), pair-programming, mob-programming, grooming the backlog, design meetings and reviewing code. At the end of each two-week sprint there's a demo by all teams to celebrate what has been accomplished.

We are looking for someone who
We are looking for a skilled C# developer for WPF/Desktop scientific applications.

- Minimum 4 years of experience developing .NET applications
- Enjoys learning new things when required (C#, WPF, .Net, TDD, scrum)
- Has an interest in software development; technical as well as process/method

We are in it for the long haul. We do not take short cuts that may cause problems down the road. Clean and clear code and solutions is key, as we will maintain the code base for years to come. We are market leaders in our field and intend to strengthen our position even further.
