Job Mission:
As a Quality Engineer in the Vacuum Automation Division in Danderyd, you ensure that our products and production processes meet Piab’s high quality standards and customer requirements. You drive continuous improvement by analyzing quality data, leading corrective and preventive actions, and collaborating closely with production, purchasing, and R&D. In this role, you play a key part in strengthening our culture of quality and supporting our long-term, sustainable growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement quality control activities and process improvements to ensure that our products and production meet internal and external quality standards and requirements.
Carry out inspections, tests, and analyses of products and processes to identify deviations, determine root causes, and propose appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
Collect and analyze data related to product quality and process performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with other functions, including production, purchasing, and R&D, to resolve quality-related issues and implement robust, long-term solutions.
Participate in internal and external audits and manage customer complaints, including investigations, corrective actions, and follow-ups.
REQUIREMENTS:
A master’s degree in engineering, preferably in quality engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience working with quality systems and tools, such as ISO 9001/14001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or similar.
Good knowledge of quality methods and tools, such as FMEA, statistical analyses, and quality control.
Experience in carrying out internal and external audits and handling customer complaints.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and use quality data to drive improvements.
Good knowledge of process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.

Job Mission
We are now looking for an experienced test engineer for our development team. As test engineer you will be responsible developing tests to verify that new and old products meet their requirements, and continually improve our test methodology.
You need to be dedicated in your work, creative and be able to work in close cooperation with others.
Job Responsibilities
Develop the test plans, methodologies and conduct testing to ensure the products meet functional requirements.
Design test fixtures and develop automated test software. Select the test tools and equipment to be used for specified test efforts.
Support production department with new production tests and maintain current test systems.
Document test designs and procedures. Draft, review and maintain formal test procedures.
In this role you are required to act accordingly to the Piab Code of Conduct and know and follow the Piab values, mission and routines.

Key Interfaces
The test engineer reports to the team leader for software and electronics. The test engineer will work in close collaboration with the design engineers in the R&D department for automation.
Required Qualifications
· Excellent English-skills – verbal and written
· Excellent knowledge in Phyton
· Good knowledge in electronics design
· Knowledge in Matlab is a merit
· Bs. Or Masters in electrical engineering or related discipline
· 3 to 5 years experience as test engineer

Job Description
In collaboration with our highly technical customer located in Täby we are now looking for a system engineer/integrator looking for an interesting role in a world leading company. Our client is specialized in laser pattern generators for photo mask writing. Their technology is used in almost all displays in application such as TV:s, computers and tablets.
As a System Engineer/Integrator you will work both hands-on with systems, but also perform theoretical analysis of system principles.
Your main work tasks will be to:
Integrate new subsystems into the complete system
Verify system and sub-system functionality
Calibrate and tune the system to meet the specified performance
Advanced troubleshooting and analysis
Process and measure masks
Build prototypes and test benches

The long term ambition for this role is to participate in installation projects internationally - a rare opportunity for the correct candidate!

Qualifications
To be a good fit for this role we believe that you have a degree in Engineering (preferably within physics, mechanical engineering, electronics or equivalent). You are either newly graduated or have already gathered some experience, the important thing is that you are eager to contribute and continue develop world class products.
You are highly motivated and can take responsibility for driving your own development and processes. You like to take analytical decisions and focus on solutions rather than problems. You are stimulated by working hands-on, often in teams with other engineers, and have a great general interest in technology.
Your communication skills are excellent, and you are writing and speaking English fluently. Speaking and writing Swedish is considered highly meritorious.
Knowledge in linux/unix, lithography process and experience from clean room work environment is very appreciated but not a must.
Since international travel eventually will be relevant, eagerness to travel is necessary.
