In this position, you will be responsible for the accounting activities in some of Tobii Dynavox subsidiaries including month end and year end close activities. You will be responsible for the contact and cooperation with auditors and accounting firms in these specific entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
You will be a valuable member of European accounting team which includes 4 colleagues., and reporting to the Accounting Manager Europe.
Your days will be filled with:
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and general accounts.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as balance sheet account reconciliations, income statements, and in some cases, cash flow statements/forecasts.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders within the Tobii Dynavox group.
Stay updated with accounting standards, financial regulations, and industry-specific requirements to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.

We are looking for someone with:
We expect you to have a university education in accounting or equivalent and at least 5 years of accounting experience.
Deep accounting knowledge.
Experience from working with direct/indirect tax compliance and audits.
German language skills is a must and if you have experience from working with German legal entities before is a bonus.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

In this position, you will work both operationally and strategically. As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee the financial operations of our European organization, leading a team of 4 accountants. Ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions in accordance with IFRS will be your responsibility.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Supervising day-to-day accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
Manage and mentor a team of 4-5 accountants
Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, effectively communicating them to the accounting team.
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to maintain accurate and complete financial records.

We are looking for someone with:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing or finance experience including direct/indirect tax compliance and audits.
Over 3 years of experience managing a team of accountants.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Previous professional experience in accounting and tax across various Nordic/European countries is a plus
Prior experience of ERP implementation is advantageous.

• Master of Science in Law, Business Administration, Economics or other similar education.
• Broad and significant experience from compliance work in an international group of companies.
• Broad experience with stakeholder management and senior leaders in an international setting.
• Ability to find pragmatic solutions to complex challenges.
• In-depth knowledge of GDPR and other disciplines within the compliance field.

The accounting team at Tobii Dynavox in Europe consists of 5 people, and as an accounts receivables specialist, you will be in charge of the accounts receivables for Tobii Dynavox entities in Sweden, Norway, and the UK.
Your days will be filled with:
Regular Account Receivable work including creating invoices, matching incoming payments, sending reminders, etc.
Maintain and develop internal controls
Monthly closings, reconciliations, and reporting
Close cooperation with order management and sales teams, as well as with external customers all around the world.
Proactively develop and document routines

We are looking for someone with:
Proven working experience within Accounts Receivables, with at least five years of experience
Fluency in English and a good level of Swedish, other international languages are a plus
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
Proficiency in MS Office, especially in MS Excel
A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is a plus
Experience in Salesforce and/or Visma Business
